List of documents required from dealers for the Spain visa application

1. Valid Current and Old passports, if any

• Valid at least 06 months beyond the stay in Spain (i.e for your scheduled travel in August – passport must have expiry date after Feb 2026)
• Not older than 10 years when applying for a visa
• With at least 2 blank pages in continuation
• A clear photocopy of the first, last page of the passport including photocopies of all Schengen, UK, US and all other Visas and Immigration stamps in the previous passport (if applicable).
• Passport should not be in damaged condition (i.e. Watermarks, Torn Pages, Loose Binding etc.)

2. Visa Application form (attached) – a sample form is attached for your reference.

• Fill with blue pen.
• Must bear original signatures of the applicant on the application form.
• A separate visa application form is required for each applicant.

3. Two recent photographs

• Size: 35 – 40 mm in width, no copy or scanned picture ( Matte finish )
• 70% focus on face & ears should be visible
• Taken against a light background (white or off-white) so that features are distinguishable and contrast against the background.
• Full face, non-smiling [without sunglasses, a hat/cap or other head covering, unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background]

4. Covering letter from the Applicant – Format attached (To be printed on firm’s letter head duly sealed & signed)

• Applications from North & East India will be submitted to the Delhi Embassy.
• Applications from South & West India will be submitted to the Mumbai Consulate. (We have attached the respective sample letter formats for both.)

Spain visa jurisdiction in India:

The consular jurisdiction of the Embassy of Spain in New Delhi includes Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, Punjab, Bihar, Meghalaya, Chandigarh, Jharkhand, Manipur, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Tripura, Haryana, Odisha, Mizoram, Delhi NCR, Sikkim, Lakshadweep Island, Rajasthan, Ladakh, Assam, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

The consular jurisdiction of the Consulate of Spain in Mumbai includes Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Kerala & Telangana.

5. Financial documents:-

• Bank statement for the last 6 months with healthy balance (should be signed & stamped by the bank) – both company & personal,
• Income tax returns for the last 3 years – both company & personal,

(Kindly get the bank statement printed, 2 days prior to your schedule appointment)

6. Other documents (copy required):-

• GST Certificate
• Partnership Deed / Memorandum of article with the name of applicant / Company registration,
• Aadhar Card
• Pan Card

Documents for Accompanying Travellers (Spouse & Children)

• Passport (as defined above),
• Photos (as defined above),
• Visa application form,
• Aadhar card,
• Pan card,
• * Marriage Certificate (Applicable only if the name is not endorsed in the partner’s passport),
• ** Financial documents (Personal bank statement – as stated above)
• School NOC – if children are accompanying

Important Notes:

• The visa process takes 15 to 20 working days, after submission of the documents at the centre / embassy.

Submission Guidelines:

• The visa application process for Spain will be conducted offline which means you will have to physically go to the application centre for your Bio Metrics and documents submission.
• ** Kindly note that the embassy / visa issuing officer may (or may not) ask for additional supporting documents while reviewing the application. The granting / refusal of the visa is at the sole discretion of the officer.

• Original Valid and all cancelled Passport, Current Passport should be of a validity exceeding by Six months from the Departure date of Schengen State. Should have at least two blank pages, must be issued within the previous ten years.
• A Clear photocopy of the first, last page of the passport including photocopies of all Schengen, UK, US and all other Visas and Immigration stamps in the previous passport (if applicable).
• Application form fully filled and signed by the applicant – (Visa form attached along with a sample filled form for your reference).
• Two recent photographs in color with white background and contrast color shirt, according to the relevant specifications (35 mm X 45 mm with 70% face visibility & should be printed on a good quality paper). The detail photo specification is mentioned in attached requirement list for your reference
• Cover Letter explaining the details of visit - Format attached *Applicants (Employees) will take the print on plain white A4 sheet.

Proof of financials for the company employees

• Salary bank statement of recent six months, duly stamped and signed by the bank official
• Indian income tax return (ITR 5) acknowledgement with bar code for recent three assessment years
• Salary Slip for recent three months
• Copy of share certificate, fix deposit – if you have
• Copy of office ID card and appointment letter
• Copy of Aadhar Card and Pan Card
• Copy of NOC from company (Format attached)
